Backerkit Addresses Locked

Hi everyone,

Addresses are now locked and I will begin the shipping process. If you still need to make an address change, please contact me ASAP at [email protected] as I will begin printing shipping labels soon to have orders packed and ready to head out.

As a reminder, the first round of shipments will be going out on March 24th. Once your package has gone out, I will not be able to make any address changes!

Bags Arrived, Shipping Soon!

Hi everyone!

I have good news today: the bags have just arrived at my door! I have sent out a notice via Backerkit for any last minute address changes. You will have 48 hours to make any changes necessary, and then the order will be locked in. If you don't get to change your address in time before the address locks, please contact me as soon as possible at [email protected] and I can manually change it on my end as long as your order has yet to be shipped. Once orders have been shipped out, I cannot make changes to addresses, and I will not be responsible for lost mail due to incorrect addresses.

(They are currently taking up all the space in my dining room so that's why there are so many snacks around 😆)

Shipping Plan

I noticed the bubble mailers I bought earlier don't actually fit the bags, so I just placed another order on slightly larger ones. I expect these to come in later this week, and should not delay the shipping process as I'll work on what I can fit into larger shipping materials I already have.

The actual shipping process will take some time, as I'll be shipping in batches. The post office I will be shipping from needs to be driven to, so I pack whatever can fit into the car and go once every week. I'm expecting the first drop off date to be March 24th (this week will be finalizing addresses and quality checking, and next week I will be busy getting ready to attend Toronto ComicCon for the weekend as a vendor. I will still be working on packaging orders during this timeframe). Before this date, the orders shipping in that batch will be sent a message here on Kickstarter with their tracking number. Please allow some time for the tracking information to update, and the estimated shipping dates are as follows:

✧ Canada: Canadapost (estimated 3-12 business days)

✧ USA: USPS (estimated 4-13 business days)

✧ Select international countries: Asendia (estimated 4-25 business days)

✧ Everywhere else: USPS (8-26 business days)

I am not shipping out in any particular order, so please keep that in mind! I believe I should be able to get everything out in 3-4 trips, so I am expecting to finish shipping out the bags by mid April. This puts us ahead of the June 2023 delivery date! :D

More updates will follow as I confirm each batch shipping out, and a final update of completing the project.

Shipping Update

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to  put an update out there to let you guys know it's been ~48 days since the bags have been shipped out. My manufacturer expects 45-65 days, so fingers crossed we hear something about them soon within the next two weeks or so! If there are no changes in the tracking, I'll go ahead and send them a message to see if they have any other information on when I should expect to receive them. Everything else has arrived and the handmade keychains/scrunchies are all finished, so I'll be ready to being packaging as soon as they arrive.

Updated Product Photos + New Kickstarter

I finally got around to taking proper product photos for the items that have already arrived! Here are some for the pins and stickers:

They all looks great in person, and I'm excited to finally shipping them out to you guys soon! It has now been a little over a month since the bags have been out at sea, so I should see updates in the tracking information in 2-4 weeks from now.

While there's not much to do during this waiting process, I am launching another Kickstarter this Friday, February 10th at 8PM EST for dim sum themed merch! Update on Crocheted Scrunchies and Plush Keychains, Enamel Pins Arrived

Hi everyone! I noticed that I haven't been posting updates about the handmade items, but I wanted to let you guys know that the scrunchies are finished, and the plushie keychains are well on their way! Everything should be completed by the time the bags arrive.

The enamel pins also arrived to me just yesterday, and now will be quality checked and put on backing cards so they are ready to go out as soon as the bags arrive.

I'm very excited to see everything come together, and will post more updates closer to when the bags are ready to be shipped out to you!
